Priority Pay Benefits Our general bookkeeping system works well because it's practical and simple. Simply keep a mailer handy in the office, shop or at home, and place paperwork in it as it is generated: bank statements, cash receipts, payroll information, etc. At regular intervals you will seal it and place it in a mailbox. We take it from there, entering all you information into our accounting system, organizing and filing your paperwork and sending it back to you every month in folders, ready to go in your filing cabinet. Having your income and expenses tracked all year not only makes your job easy at the end of the year for taxes, it also allows you to get an accurate picture as you go of how your business is doing. A monthly Profit and Loss Sheet is provided for your convenience. CostNaturally, you want to know what this will cost. Time after time our customers have discovered that it is more cost efficient to outsource to us than to take time away from their business of earning money or pay employees and related overhead. We charge an hourly rate of $40, and we usually do things quite a bit faster than you can. (Typically it shouldn't take more than 5 hours a month.) In addition, there is a flat monthly fee for postage which is determined by where we will be sending your paperwork to. What does this mean for you? Decide which services you would need. Estimate the time you think it takes you to perform those services. Because of our experience and expertise, we will most likely use less time. Multiply by $40. Then figure out how much money you lost in that same amount of time by not working your business, or how much having some time for your family or other interests is worth! If you would like an estimate, please call and we will go over the amount of work you have. From there we will give you a written estimate of charges. We will stand by that estimate for the first month. If we discover during that month that the work will take longer than estimated, you will have an opportunity to approve or elect not to go forward with our services. (We haven't lost one yet!) At Priority Pay your books are our 1# priority. |
